Anodes Info
Of all available anode materials, magnesium is the one that has the highest driven voltage. Because of this, magnesium anodes are used advantageously in soil and water with high resistivity.
Normally there are two different qualities being used, standard potential ( 1.5V ) and high potential (1.7V). When the anodes are intended for land installation, they are delivered as standard with a backfill mix of bentonite, as well as a 10m long red XLPE/PVC 10mm2 cable. Cable lengths can be customized.
The cable connection is embedded in epoxy. The anodes are often used for buried pipes & propane tanks.

* Bare Mg anodes are assembled with cable and the joints aresealed with epoxy resin, packed in cotton bag and filled withbackfill. * Prepackaged anodes are buried under the ground, backfill ofprepackaged anode will escape to the earth and groundwater,therefore any harmful element inside the backfill will pollute the environment. * Made of recyclable materials or easily decomposable materialsand the content of harmful elements in the backfill is lower than any safety standards.
