The High Potential HP Magnesium anodes are made from high-purity magnesium and can produce a higher driving voltage than conventional magnesium anodes. These anodes are well-suited for protecting structures buried in soils with resistivities in excess of 2,000 ohm/cm. Our special technology ensures that the anodes have superior electrochemical properties, with an actual measured driving potential between -1.8V to -1.85V. This provides the most powerful protection to the targeted structure and contributes to the anodes' longer working life. All of our magnesium anodes are manufactured and tested according to the latest international standards, such as ASTM B843 and ASTM G97, and are available in both M1C (High Potential) or AZ63B (Standard Potential) magnesium anode.
High Potential HP Magnesium anode fights corrosion effectively and economically, making it ideal for use in marine environments, soil environment, etc. They protect a variety of steel structures in saltwater, brackish water, and freshwater. This includes buried oil and gas pipelines, storage tanks, boats, ballast tanks, bulkheads, pilings, heat exchangers, and other steel structures.
